TRAVEL SAFETY UPDATE: Beginning May 15, 2020, all Silver and Seaborne passengers must wear face coverings (including masks, bandanas, scarves, or other forms of face protection) in the airports we serve and when in flight.

The mask requirement includes time during check-in, boarding, in-flight, and deplaning. Young children who are not able to maintain a face covering on their own are exempt from this policy, as are individuals with qualifying health reasons or disabilities.

This requirement is part of the airline’s ongoing commitment to prioritizing customer and team member well-being in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Always remember to avoid travel if you are showing symptoms of respiratory illness or traveling from a restricted area.

Thank you in advance for following this requirement. At Silver Airways, the health and safety of our passengers and our employees is priority number one.

Starting January 1, 2021, we are permanently waiving change and cancellation fees to customers who buy Silver’s Freedom Fares for travel within the U.S, or between the U.S and Bahamas or within the Caribbean (travel within the U.S includes Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands). In addition the Freedom fare perks include free ticket exchanges, free seat assignments and last minute reschedule. Your unused ticket can be applied to buy a new flight. If the fare and taxes of the new flight are higher, the difference will be collected. If the fare and taxes of the new flight are lower, the difference will move to Travel Bank for future use. Tickets must be changed or cancelled prior to departure of your original flight to avoid being a “No-Show” and lose the value of the ticket. Freedom Fares are non-refundable

Customers who buy Silver’s Escape Fares may change their reservation at any time after paying a change fee plus the fare difference (if applicable). Change fees for Escape Fares are currently set at $50 for domestic itineraries and $100 for international itineraries. In addition, extras like seat upgrades, ticket exchanges, last minute reschedule are available for purchase. Tickets must be changed or cancelled prior to departure of your original flight to avoid being a “No-Show” and lose the value of the ticket. Escape Fares are non-refundable.

Customers who buy Silver's Refundable Fares for domestic or international travel may change their reservation at any time with no fees or penalties, as long as it is done prior to the scheduled departure time of the original flight.

Tickets are valid for one year from the date of purchase and final travel must be completed by the end of the ticket validity. For all tickets purchased at least 7 days before a flight’s scheduled departure date and time, you can cancel without penalty and receive a full refund as long as it is done within 24 hours of hours after the reservation is made. For everything else, the fare rules associated to the purchased ticket will apply.

Please remember that if you purchased your ticket through a third party (travel agency or another airline), you have to contact them directly for assistance with changes and cancellations.
